Practices involved
Always, control egg eating by providing enough litter. Also remove broken eggs as well as collecting eggs from cages on time. Furthermore, always provide birds with enough uniform light and fence poultry houses and farm. Also ensure to culling off unproductive birds and maintain proper poultry feed formulation. Lastly, avoid over feeding laying birds to control obesity.
Disease control
First, clean drinkers and feeders regularly and isolate sick birds from non sick birds. Also ensure litter depth of 4-6 inches in poultry houses this should be changed periodically to avoid outbreak of diseases. Furthermore, monitor birds regularly to easily detect abnormalities.
