As a source of fertilizer, chicken waste is a potential raw material for the making organic fertilizer which can be used on the farm for crop production. Because chichen increasing production increase manure and animal remains from slaughter house, untreated remains contaminate soils and create hazard for the people. To prepare fertilizer, one can use bi-products such as chicken manure which is rich in nitrogen.

Manure making

When making fertilizer from chicken waste, add straw, carbon in manure to conserve nitrogen as it can easily be lost form droppings. For 70 kg of chicken fertilizer, collect 60kg of droppings, 5kg of organic matter and 5kg of decomposed cowdung which is then mixed together under shade of tree for good microbes to grow quickly. Prepare decomposer that is rich in good microbes and mash 5kg of over rippened fruits, 1kg of raw sugar and mix with 1kg of fresh cowdung.
Similarly, put the mixture in plastic container and cover with lid and stir the mixture once a day for a week and after, mix 5l of organic decomposer ad 5l of water and sprinkle o chicken manure mixture and mix well. Cover the pile with broad leaves or with polythene if its rainig and sprinkle water on pile everyday.
Open the pile once every 15 days for fresh air, mix 5l of decomposer with 5l of water and put it on pile and the fertilizer is ready in 2 months. Dig a pit of 1/2 deep and 1/2 wide, mix 80kg of chicken waste with 20kg of composted cowdung, add 5l of organic decomposer to the mix and add 500g of trichodema fungi and mix well and put it into pit and cover.
Furthermore, once a week, mix waste in pit and add 5l of decomposing solution for chicken waste to decompose completely in 3 months. Apply 100kg of chicken fertilizer on top of soil after last ploughing for 200sqm or apply the fertilizeraround the tree trunk once and cover with mulch in every 6 months.
To turn roote eggs into fertilizer, place 10 rotten eggs in the jar, add 100gf raw sugar, put lemon juice in the jar until eggs are fully submerged and after 15 days mix eggs with lemon juice solution and store the solution in air tight continer for upto 3 months.
Finally for cereals and vegetables, during flowering, spray in mornig or afternoon.
