Boosting egg hatchability
Always, ensure proper storage of hatched eggs to avoid damage and incubate eggs that are less than 10 days old, incubating freshly laid egg increases the chances of egg hatchability. Additionally, provide nutritive feeds to breeder chickens, these should have vitamins and other essential minerals. Furthermore, avoid hatching eggs from old hens as well as those from poor chicken breeds. Lastly, also maintain a temperature between 37.2- 39.9 degrees Celsius, humidity of 50-60%, and ventilation for oxygen supply and adequate light in the incubator.
