Using bitter leaf plant extract to boost growth, weight gain in broiler and treat diseases naturally

First, bitter leaf juice and powder treat diarrhea and other bacterial diseases in birds like E coli, salmonellosis, and gastral infections. Additionally, it also prevents and treats bumble foot disease as well as useful in the chicken deworming process since it contains bioactive compounds hence proper growth of birds. Lastly, the bitter leaf also enhances the growth of chicken by improving the feed conversion ratio as well as improving chicken health status.

Start by harvesting fresh bitter leaves, air dry them under shade and thereafter crush them. Alternatively, harvest mature leaves, clean them well, crush them to extract juice, and sieve to remove foreign particles. Thereafter, store the extracted juice in the refrigerator or a cool dry place. When feeding birds add 1 gram of bitter leaf powder to every kilo of feed and mix well.  On the other hand, add 50 millimeters of bitter leaf juice for every liter of chicken drinking water and mix well.
