Rice management
Because rice is grown in sandy-loam and loamsandy soils and also clay loam, it is grown in relative high and humid climatic conditions and always a farmer should choose local varieties to grow in an area. Prepare lnd by ploughing, mixing and leveling soil and transplant seedlings from bed to main field.
Similarly apply chemical fertilizer twice in 30 days intervals and maintain floooded condtions in field for 2 weeks after transplanting and control weeds from rice field and control pests and diseases.
Rice reach maturity between 105-150 days depending on variety after crop establishment and finally harvest rice when moisture reduces to 20% in grain.
