Cotton is an important crop world wide since its an essential input especially in the textile industry.

Cotton, known for its soft breathable fibers is one of the most common cultivatable crops and its farming involves a series of different stages from planting to harvesting and processing.

Cotton cultivation

Cotton cultivation begins with land preparation which including ploughing, harrowing and levelling to make a suitable planting bed.
Planting. cotton seeds are sowed in lines either manually or using machines. Adequate spacing between and within rows is crucial for proper growth.
