Prevention measures
Always install the chicken dust bathing area and burn dust bathing material after some time. Additionally, ensure to add wood ash to the dust bathing area, and add brewers yeast or garlic in chicken feeds. Alternatively, also dust chicken with diatomaceous earth to kill mites and other parasites.
Organic mites treatment
Thoroughly clean the chicken coop and burn old litter. Alternatively, make a garlic extract by crushing garlic and smearing chicken on the affected parts. Furthermore, spray organic essential plant oil extract in chicken houses, these oils can be mixed by adding 50 MLS of each essential oil in a hand sprayer, add 10 MLS of alcohol, and top up with water before spraying.
