Because pests are notorious organisms that affect the crops, farmers can make their own pesticides to control the pests on their farm. Because insecticides pollute soils and ground water, hybrid crops are more prone to insect pest attack as chemical ferilizer are used however, plant health seeds in healthy soils for healthy plants. Place flowering plant around field to attract pollinators.

Repellent preparation

First, use leaves which are not liked by pests to make repellent by mixing 1kg of 5 different leaves which have latex, add 1kg of bitter leaves and 1kg of aromatic leaves. Chop leaves together, put in container, add 10l of water, 1l of cow urine  and place th container in th shade and cover it.
Stir daily with clean wooden stick, filter solution after a week and put remaining leaves or residues on top of the soil. For other repellents preparation, take 250g of ginger, 250g garlic, 250g chilli and grind them into pest and put 5l of water in cooking pot and mix paste while in water and boil.
Once solution is cooled,mix with 1l of cow urine and leave it for a week and then filter. Grind 1/2kg of hibiscuss leavs or aloe vera leaves and mix 1l of solution in 10l of water with 500ml of gel and apply to crop. Finally, monitor your farm daily and spray once a month if no pest are seen.
