Calcium is a very important nutrient in crop growth and development and its deficiency can even cause diseases like blossom end rot in tomatoes.
Deficiency of calcium in crops can manifest through development of curly leaves and improper shape of newly developing leaves. To make the organic calcium fertilizer, you need eggshells as raw material.

Making calcium fertilzer

First, you need to wash the egg shells and in this, warm water can also be used. It is important to ensure that the egg white doesn’t remain in the egg shells during washing.
Place all the washed eggshells in open sunlight and let them dry properly.
Once dry, put the egg shells in a mixing jar and grind them using a grinder.
After grinding and all the shells have been converted into a fine powder, the powder is ready for use as a fertilizer.
To use it, take the required quantity of fertilizer and mix it with garden soil and after mixing it with garden soil, water the plant prooperly.
