Field preparation
As crushed gravel around bed is ideal to stop slugs from bed and also warms during day to raise heat at night, also crushed shell when put around raised bed reflects light to the plants. Use materials available to make raised beds.
Similarly, align the bed with polythene to stop chemicals leaching and make beds or too wide and put pegs in corners to keep it square and to stop moving. Irrigate plants in morning for growth and evenng to revive plants and finally put bed to 6 hours sun shine daily for optimum growth.
