Decrease in soil fertility greatly affects crop yields but this can be boosted using fertilizers.
During peak seasons, bananas are usually in plenty and many of them end up in trash cans yet these can be used to make a valuable liquid fertilizer for use on plants.

Liquid fertilizer making

To make fertilizer from bananas, you need to get some ripe bananas and chop them perfectly. After chopping the bananas, make a liquid out of them using a mixer blender. Pour the liquid into a jar and also add some water into it.

Close the jar and put it in a cool place.
Wait for 7 days and after, the mixture will separate in to 2 layers, 1 of solid and the other of liquid. Mix the two layers properly and then add it to a bucket with 5 liters of water.
This is a fine mixture ready to use as a fertilizer and is poured at the root zone of plants.
