To transplant tomato seedlings first prepare your land by digging holes or preparing trenches. Apply manure on the holes or trenches then apply 10-15 grams of fertilizer rich in phosphorous and mix it with the manure and soil thoroughly.
You may water the holes and then plant the seedlings or plant then water the seedlings. Plant the seedlings using your hands by making a small hole and then covering it with soil, with a spacing of about 60cm apart for the seed to find a good rooting network. After planting water the seedlings thoroughly to reduce the shock and for better adaptation to the new ground. Drench with a fungicide to protect the seedling from fungal infection and a pesticide to protect it against cutting insects.
