Drug administration

As eprinex can be administered by squeeze – measure pour on technique or with dosing applicator, always wear gloves when handling pesticides. For squeeze measure pour- on technique, use 250ml or 1 litre container.

Additionally, start by inserting the dip tube into the base of middling cap. Un screw the shaping cap from container top and screw the middling cap on container top and weigh the animal for accurate dosing. Rotate or adjust the cap in either direction to position dose indicator to weight of the animal and when body weight is between markings, use the higher setting.

Similarly, squeeze the container gently to fill the cap to required dose and pour it along back line of animal from withers to tail head until the full dose is dispensed. Detach middling cap after each use and replace shaping cap to close container top for proper storage. The 2.5 litres, 5l and 20l are to be used by use o dosing applicator.

Place springs over each tubing and attach draw off tubing to the appropriate dosing applicator and attach the other hand of draw off tubing to cap. Slide spring up onto applicator to prevent tubing from kinking during application and after, replace shaping cap with that which is touched to draw off tubing and gently play with dosing applicator checking for leaks.

Furthermore, weigh the animal, adjust the dose following directions provided by manufacturer of dosing applicator and this same direction should serve as guide for proper use and maintenance of applicator and tubing.

Finally pour along backline of animal from withers to tail head until full dose is dispensed.
