Being a nutritious and delicious fruit, jackfruit farming still possess a small percentage of production by the farmers and those practising possess low skills in farming.

Additionally, space seedlings at 25×25 ft to encourage intercropping of crops such as maize and beans. Harvesting of jackfruit is done twice in a year and each tree produce an average of 50 fruits for each season.
Finally, jackfruit tree lasts for about 80 years.
