Because soil health determine the quality and quantity of production of a crop, fertilizer for improving soil can easily be obtained using biofertilizers. Because biofertilizer contain good micro organisms which keep crops healthy, the break down organic matter and also strengthen the plants and it requre 200l plastic bottle with a metal ring to close bottle tightly. This must be able to relase gasses formed during fermentation.

Biofertilizer management

First, place bottle in warm shady place out of direct sunlight and collect 30 kg of fresh cowdung to bottle and add water. Stir with a wooden stick, desolve 5kg of brown sugar in hot water and let it cool and also desolve 2 packets of yeast of 170g into completely warm water.

Furthermore, Make a small hole in lid and put a gas nipple in it and cover the bottle with lid and direct nipple to the water. Biofertilizer is ready in 2-3 months depending on weather and ingredients used and when ready, it is greenish brown with white cream on surface.
Use fertilizer immediately as it degrades with storage and filter the biofertilizer and spread the residues in the field. Apply fertilizer on crops after fltering by putting 2l of biofertilizer in 20l of water and spray on most crops.
Finally, do not apply fertilizer on crops flowering and spray before 10:00am.
