Stages involved
For 1 kg of seed use 4kg of clay, 2kg of compost and 1 kg of ash, the coating materials should be in dust form.
Start by placing seeds in a basin, sprinkle some water to lightly moisten the seeds and add the powdered ingredients one at a time.
This should be followed by shaking the basin to easily coat the seeds while adding coating materials and little water at a time until all seeds are fully coated.
