Lastly, disinfect litter, cover litter with newspaper, and confine chicks in a small portion of the brooder for proper heat regulation.

Ensure to give chicks starter feeds, and an ample supply of water containing glucose and vitamins on day one. Secondly, ensure to replace litter covering papers every day to avoid moisture accumulation on litter.
