Synthetic pre-drawn beeswax comb frames are sold while pre-wired so while holding your frames together, glue them or nail them depending on the choice of your attaching method. Use an embedding machine and needle-nose pliers to grip and tighten the wire.
Method
There is no big difference between the frames that get glued and those that get nailed. While placing the comb, mark each frame so as to know when all the frames are intact and with the comb placed on them. Get a frame and little nails that you can tap in the frame using a hammer leaving the nails at a level that has a clearance to wrap the wire. Use the little eyelets punch to p..unch holes through the better comb to run the wire through the holes instead of using toothpicks like they used to be before.
Wiring
The eyelets always give you a guide to run your wire through so that it does not hang up or cut into the wooden side bars. When you pass the wires through the holes and tighten them on the nails, ensure they are all tightened and where there is a loose wire, use the wire crimper to tighten it.
Safety
Building your own frames guarantees zero worries of passing germs, bacteria, or any other potential disease from other hives. As a builder, it is good to have your nails, eyelets, and all the other tools organized in a way that one can easily locate them when there is a need to build a frame and in a way that ensures personal safety. When you have embedded the wires, you don’t use your bare hands while heating them up since there is an electric current running through them during this process.
