Chick feed should contain 27% and 22%-24% of protein to adult feed and feed quails 30-35g daily to quails at 6 months of age.

Additionally, 14-16 hours of light are required daily to increase desire of egg production and fertility. For males which dont lay eggs, provide light for 8 hours daily and keep males and females quails together to lay eggs. For egg fertility, collect eggs for hatching 4 days after keeping females to one male and always maintain water, feed and temperature for chicks which is 95 degrees Fahrenheit in first week 90 degrees Fahrenheit in the second week. This temperature is reduced to 75 degrees Fahrenheit in the third week and eventually 60 degrees in the fourth week.

Provide water mixed with glucose to birds which are brought to the brooder in 24 hours and finally take care and mange quails properly by preventing diseases as chicks dont tolerate weather and temperature changes as well.
