Transplant seedlings 30 days after seeding at a spacing of 42/45*16/30 cm in a bed of 92cm wide.
Similarly, water seedlings for several hours before transplanting and apply irrigation immediately after transplanting and given that broccoli is best in soils of good fertility, use NPK, lime to maintain a suitable pH for proper growth.
Broccoli is a shallow rooted crop hence irrigate frequently and add proper drainage system in rainy season. Continue by removing weeds as soon as possible to improve yield. It is done by use of herbicides, mechanical removal.
Furthermore, apply good crop rotation system, harvest the fruit by cutting just below the fruit stem and finally keep cutting until weather turns too hot or too cold to stop producing.
