Star by sowing seeds at rain onset at 1.5-2 cm deep, at distance of 6-7 cm between plants and 35 cm between rows. Always constantly water crops for proper and effective crop growth. Furthermore, thin when plants attain the height of 4cm and apply fertilize with organic matter around the plant for proper crop growth. Also timely control weeds to avoid plant competition. Furthermore control pests and diseases by rotational cultivation.
Harvesting
Always start harvesting beetroots 9 weeks after planting when bulbs have 1 inch in diameter and properly store the harvested beetroot bulbs to avoid contamination and rotting which may lower the crop market value resulting into losses.
