Other management practices
Provide good housing to the birds. Ensure that the poultry house provides as much comfort to the birds as possible because inappropriate housing causes stress to the birds and this diverts energy from growth to managing stress.
Swiftly respond to any health concerns. It is unlikely that you will rear birds and they fail to get sick. Birds often fall sick and this retards their growth rate. To enable faster growth, ensure that the you respond swiftly to any health issue that arises.
Feed management. Ensure that you give the birds good quality feed and in the right amounts. Feeds contribute 70% of the budget in broilers and this signifies how important feed is in the success of a poultry project. In addition to feed, provide your birds with adequate clean cool drinking water and also give the birds organic growth boosters to boost their growth.
