To grow chili, first prepare the land into a fine seed bed, add fertilizer and cover with a layer of plastic mulch if you plan on using plastic mulch before planting. Raise the seedlings either in seedling trays or in a nursery bed.
Chili cultivation
Punch holes in the plastic mulch at the spacing of 20 cm within rows and plant the seedlings in the holes. Water the chili incase there is no rain.
The chili plants will mature after about 3 months and can be harvested after 4 to 6 months.
Spray the chili to protect it from pests.
After harvesting, the chili can be sorted and packed for sell.
The chili can either be sold either fresh or dried.
