Pest management
First, scout field in a W pattern for random scouting of field and when scouting, walk5m into field and move to 5 locations and scout boader rows and look at 10-20 plants closely for eacj location for the signs of armyworm damage.
Similarly, record number of plants at first location with damage of fall army worm and move to the next location and do the same and then to all locations as well. If 2 of 10 plants in each location are damaged, treat with faligen bio-pesticide.
After spraying, no one should enter the field until it dries and finally re-scout field after a week and repeat spraying every week for 3-5 weeks.
