As one of the most impotant fruits rich in vitamins for the human body, pineapple growing and production also increase on the incomes of the farmers. First, get a big pineapple crown from fruit and remove remaining flesh on crown to prevent entry by pathogens and remove small laves at base of crown for root growth. Cure the crown for 2 days in a dry place away from direct sunlight and cut crown into sections or more depending on size.

Sucker management

A farmer should remove the epical meristem from each section for faster bud emergence and trim off not more than 50% of leaves from each section and fill the perforated basin with 50% river sand and 50% sowdust. Water thoroughly the container of 15cm high and put the sand and sawdust up half of basin and make holes of 2.5cm deep by 4cm apart in basin and place in sections.
Similarly, dip sections into fungicides before planting and water lightly and put in sunny area and apply NPK 1 day after planting. At two months, suckers are prepared for transplanting or for more suckers and after 3 months, transplant to main field and put garden soil in bag and place plant let in it for pre transplant.
Furthermore, keep for a month before taking to final garden and water well and make sure no soil get to growing tip during transplant to ensure survival.
