Being implements and equipments that ease farm work, condition of their tires determine the time to complete work, quality of work and efficiency of the machine on a particular work.
When inspecting the tractor, inspect tires and rims before days‘ work and the inspection should be done both before and after work and place all tools after use on ground. Use owner‘s manual for additional schedules and practices.
Tractor handling
First, ask the tractor dealer for advice if anything is unclear and regularly check oils, fluids, water, batteries, air filter every 8 hours of operation. Dont ignore minor problems and keep your tractor clean then remove major dirt and grass clippings to avoid damage and rust and remove by washing with water and mild soap then leave it to dry while you watch it.
Similarly, replace worn out parts immediately, tighten loose connections and check loader connection while making sure there are no leaks and holes. Lubricate nuts, bolts and joints of a tractor to prevent rusting.
Finally, test drive the tractor and be alert to anything abnormal.
